I’ve spent my career in and around communications — as a writer, an editor, a broadcaster, an agency account director, and a digital producer. That breadth isn’t accidental. It’s why this works.
I started in digital media before most businesses had websites. In 1996, I produced the first-ever website for the United States Olympic Committee. From there I moved to the NHL, where I managed editorial and production for NHL.com, and then to USA Network, where I directed a team of writers, designers, and producers, helping to drive record-breaking viewership for network series premieres.
From there I moved into agency life — at Wray Ward in Charlotte, where clients included the Charlotte Bobcats and WIX Filters, and later at broadhead, where I led accounts for clients like Norfolk Southern, North Carolina Ports and ChargePoint. I developed communications strategies, managed omnichannel campaigns, and guided teams across creative, strategy, media, and analytics. Along the way I also spent more than a decade as a freelance content strategist, building SEO and social media programs that delivered real, measurable results for clients in industries from telecommunications to automotive.
